I would like to invite you to participate in the talk “Wind Energy Conversion Systems”, given by Prof.-Dr. Samir Kouro of the Federico Santa María Technical University, Chile.
The talk will be on Wednesday, September 14, starting at 8:25 a.m. in Chile through the Zoom platform.
This talk will give an overview of wind energy conversion systems with a special perspective from electrical and electronic engineering. The main interface configurations between the turbine and the electrical network will be analyzed, as well as the main combinations of generators and power converters used in the industry. The talk is a summary of the book Power Conversion and Control of Wind Energy Systems of which Prof. Kouro is a co-author.
